What We Deliver

Software that works in a demo and breaks under real load is not software, it is a liability. Codanum builds systems that are engineered from the architecture up for the load, the workflow, and the team that will maintain them after we deliver. Our approach starts with a technical discovery phase: we interview your stakeholders, map your actual workflows (not the idealised version), review your existing systems, and produce a technical specification and architecture diagram before writing code. This investment upfront saves weeks of rework later. On the frontend, we default to React for complex application UIs and SvelteKit or Next.js for content-heavy sites and SEO-critical pages. We build with performance budgets in mind: every page has a target Lighthouse score, and we do not ship until we hit it. TypeScript is standard on all new projects for maintainability and refactoring safety. On the backend, we work across Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), and have experience with Go for high-throughput services. PostgreSQL and Supabase are our primary database stack, battle-tested, ACID-compliant, and with strong tooling. For authentication, we implement JWT or session-based auth with proper RBAC, not homebrew token systems. For mobile, our primary delivery is Android (Kotlin) with clean architecture and offline-first capability. Cross-platform iOS/Android is covered via React Native. We do not bolt on mobile as an afterthought, if mobile is in scope, it is designed into the architecture from day one. Every project includes: version-controlled codebase with full Git history, comprehensive README and deployment documentation, CI/CD pipeline setup, and a handover session. You own your code.
